This is my kind of wedding.
There's something about a farm or marquee wedding that no venue in the world can replicate. The freedom of it. The personality. The fact that you can look around and see your own land, your own animals, your own people and know that this day is entirely, completely yours.
I've photographed farm weddings across North Yorkshire and County Durham from wildflower meadow marquees in the Yorkshire Dales to working farms with highland cows, ponies, and tractors pulling up as the guests arrive. Every single one has been extraordinary. Every single one has been completely different. And every single one has had a joy and an authenticity to it that you simply can't manufacture in a hired venue.
