Sarah & Ross’s Colourful Wedding at Blackwell Grange, Darlington
As a North East wedding photographer, I’m lucky to photograph weddings at some of the region’s most beautiful venues, and Blackwell Grange Hotel is always a favourite. With elegant interiors, gorgeous grounds and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect setting for couples planning a romantic yet vibrant celebration.
Sarah and Ross’s wedding was the perfect example of a colourful wedding done beautifully. From the moment I arrived in the morning, colour was everywhere. The bridal preparations were full of bright details, joyful laughter and those lovely quiet moments before the ceremony. As a North East wedding photographer, these early hours are always some of my favourite to capture – the excitement building, the finishing touches, and all the meaningful little details that make the day unique.
Their ceremony was full of emotion, surrounded by family and friends who had travelled to celebrate with them in Darlington. After they said their vows, guests gathered outside in the grounds of Blackwell Grange to enjoy the fresh air and stunning surroundings while we took some relaxed couple portraits.
What made this wedding especially memorable was the incredible use of colour throughout the day.
