I knew this wedding was going to be epic… but honestly, it was on another level entirely.
Emma & Hahley’s Halloween wedding at Hardwick Hall was dark, romantic, stylish and unapologetically bold, and every single detail worked perfectly. With friends and family travelling from all over the world to celebrate, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. These two are so deeply loved, and it showed in every embrace, every cheer and every moment on the dancefloor.Hardwick Hall was the ultimate backdrop for their vision. The grandeur of the architecture, the soft autumn light filtering through the trees and the rich seasonal colours created a cinematic setting that suited the mood perfectly. The grounds gave us the most stunning autumn portraits, golden leaves, winding paths and that incredible contrast between nature and Emma’s striking black gown.
And let’s talk about that dress.
Emma’s black wedding dress was nothing short of iconic, elegant, powerful and completely unforgettable. Paired with dramatic florals in deep autumn tones, it brought a fashion-editorial feel to every portrait. Every movement, every glance, every step felt intentional and full of confidence. Together, Emma & Hahley looked effortlessly cool, completely themselves and totally magnetic.
From intimate getting-ready moments and beautifully styled details, to relaxed bridal party portraits, emotional reactions and a ceremony filled with meaning, this day flowed with such ease. And when the party started… it really started. Hands in the air, people lifted onto shoulders, laughter, chaos and the kind of dancefloor energy you dream of as a photographer. Choosing previews tonight has been almost impossible. I could genuinely share the entire gallery. For now though, I’m sharing just a small selection — a glimpse into a wedding that was bold, heartfelt, stylish and bursting with joy. Claire was truly truly incredible from the very beginning. She was amazing at our pre-wedding shoot and somehow even better on the wedding day itself! From the moment she arrived to the bridal suite I felt instantly calm because I knew she had everything completely handled. She made everyone, even the most feral children feel so relaxed and comfortable, and it all just flowed so naturally. What meant the most to us was how quickly Claire understood us as a couple. She instantly got the vibe we were going for with our wedding and made us feel so seen and understood. Because of that, our photos feel so “us”.
