I know I say all my couples are little legends… BUT these two? Next level. Absolute icons.
Danby Castle Barn was the perfect base for this day, a venue full of character, history and warmth, tucked away in the most beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. No matter what the weather decided to do, this place delivers stunning photo opportunities at every turn, from the stone walls and barn doors to the sweeping views that surround it. And then there’s the moor.
Because of course we went up there.
When I suggested heading up onto the moorland near Danby Castle Barn, these two didn’t hesitate for a second. A little rain turned into a LOT of rain. A LOT of wind. Proper wild, dramatic, cinematic conditions, the kind photographers secretly dream of. For Tash to fall over and lose the veil, for Matt to fall over and still have the biggest smiles and the best time ever, that’s exactly what made this day so special. Muddy shoes, windswept hair, uncontrollable laughter and memories that will last a lifetime. You really are THE best, and I hope these photos truly reflect just how much fun we had out there together. This was your wedding, your way, relaxed, adventurous and completely unapologetic. Danby Castle Barn gave us the most incredible backdrop for a day full of love, laughter and pure joy, whatever the weather.

Claire, where do I even begin!? I don’t even need to wait for the official photos - we are already utterly obsessed! You have been the absolute best photographer we could ever have asked for. You kept me calm through the nerves, had us all laughing constantly and some how seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing every moment so naturally and effortlessly.
