Stephanie and Ryan’s beautiful wedding day began with a heartfelt ceremony at St Andrew’s Church in Darlington, surrounded by their closest family and friends. A traditional church wedding always has such a lovely atmosphere, and the moment Steph walked down the aisle was incredibly special. The church ceremony was filled with smiles, laughter and a few happy tears as the couple finally said “I do” and began their new chapter together.

After the ceremony in Darlington town, everyone made their way to the stunning Blackwell Grange Hotel for the wedding celebrations. Located on the outskirts of Darlington in County Durham, this historic hotel is a wonderful North East wedding venue set within beautiful grounds and woodland. The impressive Georgian building and landscaped gardens make it a perfect setting for relaxed wedding photography.

As a North East wedding photographer, I always enjoy photographing weddings at Blackwell Grange Hotel. The gardens provide some gorgeous spots for couple portraits, especially in the soft afternoon light. Steph and Ryan were so natural together, making my job incredibly easy while we captured some relaxed photographs around the grounds before heading back inside to join their guests.

The reception was full of warmth, laughter and plenty of celebrations as family and friends gathered to toast the newly married couple. From the speeches through to the evening celebrations, it was clear how loved Steph and Ryan are by everyone around them.
