Fern and Douglas chose Pepper Arden Hall for their wedding day, and from start to finish it was everything a wedding day should be — warm, joyful, romantic, and completely, beautifully them. I left with a full heart and some of my favourite images to date.

What I remember most about Fern and Douglas's wedding day is the feeling of it. There was a warmth and an ease to everything — the kind of atmosphere that tells you a couple has surrounded themselves with exactly the right people, in exactly the right place.
Fern was absolutely stunning. Douglas looked every bit the proud groom. And from the preparations through to the ceremony and beyond, the day unfolded with that beautiful combination of joy and quiet emotion that makes wedding photography such a privilege.
Pepper Arden Hall gave us so much to work with photographically. The light through the windows during bridal prep, the texture of the walls and grounds for couple portraits, the intimacy of the ceremony space — it all came together into a set of images I am incredibly proud of.
