Getting to Know the Brooks Family
What better compliment can a wedding photographer get than being asked back to photograph the family years later? I photographed the Brooks' wedding a while ago, so when they got in touch about a family shoot, I was thrilled. Now there are two little ones in the mix, and honestly, my heart is still full.
The Shoot
We headed up onto the moors at Arkengarthdale, and what a backdrop. There was heather in bloom, big moody Dales skies and a proper breeze, which meant windswept hair all round. Nobody minded one bit.
This family don't need much direction. It's exactly the sort of shoot I'm always hoping for, because it's pure, unposed family life.
